Hi I'm Karen,

For years I worked in British-based creative advertising agencies and corporate organisations where I oversaw the development of large big-budget marketing campaigns for major brands.

That was until I felt I was going around in circles and fell out of love with my career and the corporate world.

I felt life was too short to spend most of my time doing something that didn’t bring me any joy. So I stepped off the corporate merry-go-round to have more control over my life and work out what I really wanted to do.

I trained to be a yoga teacher, and was lucky enough spend time as a homemaker where I could endulge my passion for interiors and food. Nutritrion became another interest of mine as I loved to cook and bake from scratch. Concerned about food production I turned to organics not just for my food but also for my body and around the home.

As a mother navigating the British school system, out of necessity I learnt about child psychology and education and in the process rediscovered my passion for books and learning. I became a school Govenor in an attempt to effect change.

In between I returned to work in various part-time roles but still couldn't reignite that spark.

During my time out I was fortunate to travel to loads of amazing countries and stay in beautiful places and discovered another passion.

Throughout the years I maintained my interest in spirituality nad personal development.

Events in 2020 sent me on a quest to learn the history I wasn't taught in school and something clicked inside of me.. I turned to writing to make sense of everything I'd been through over the years. In a nutshell over the years I found ME.

I thought I was well and truly done with marketing but then I realised I had loads of skills and experience going to waste.

Strategic marketing know-how that I could use to help other midlife women like me who want to follow their dreams, and use their talents and passions to be financially independent.
